Public Safety
Residents, friends, visitors and local businesses need to feel safe in our city. I support fully funding our public safety departments so they have the tools and staff to do their jobs well.
Having worked as Certified Crime Prevention Specialist for the Brooklyn Center Police Department, I developed close relationships with fire, police and other public safety professionals, such as embedded social workers. This experience taught me that public safety funding must be a top priority for our city.
